Qualifications in Applied Translation
Translation is the process of transferring meaning from written text from one language into another. The Anglia International Qualification in Applied Translation equips candidates with the skills that will allow them to convey the meaning of the source text accurately in the target language, mirroring the information, ideas, opinions, cultural aspects and register expressed by the author. This is underpinned with a knowledge and understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a translator and how translation theory and tools can support them in their work.The Anglia International Qualification in Applied Translation is suitable for speakers of two or more languages, capable of operating at a minimum of CEFR level C1 (Distinction in Anglia Proficiency) in both. Candidates will normally be expected to translate from a source language into their mother tongue (Spanish) as is customary in the workplace.
This qualification consists of two separate and individually marked exams, ie, the Certificate in Applied Translation and the Anglia Diploma in Applied Translation.
The whole qualification is made up of four units in all, ie two to complete the Certificate level and another two for the Diploma level.
Certificaciones en Traducción Aplicada
La traducción es el proceso que consiste en transferir significado desde un texto escrito en un idioma a otro. La Certificación Internacional Anglia en Traducción Aplicada equipa a los postulantes a examen con las destrezas que les permitirán expresar el significado del texto fuente en el idioma meta con precisión, reflejando la información, ideas, opiniones, aspectos culturales y registro expresados por el autor. Esto se respalda por medio del conocimiento y entendimiento de los roles y responsabilidades de un traductor, y de como la teoría y las herramientas de traducción pueden ayudar a los traductores en su labor.
La Certificación Internacional en Traducción Aplicada es apta para hablantes de dos o más idiomas, capaces de operar a un nivel mínimo C1 en el Marco Común de Referencia Europeo (Distinction en Anglia Proficiency) en ambos idiomas. Los postulantes a examen deberán traducir de un idioma fuente a su lengua madre (español), tal como es habitual en el mercado laboral.
Esta certificación está comprendida por dos exámenes separados e individualmente evaluados, es decir: el Certificado en Traducción Aplicada y el Diploma en Traducción Aplicada.
La certificación completa consta de cuatro unidades en total, vale decir, dos para obtener el nivel de Certificado y otras dos para el de Diploma.
