Writing Paper: Mark Scheme • Reading/ Grammar & Writing

The marking guidelines below (2007) are the latest files as they have been superseded by a change in the marking methodology. We now use for the long written answers, ie letters and compositions, the CAT, CART, CARAT & CARATS system as introduced during the summer 2010 session.

An explanation of how this works can be found within the Central Documents area at www.anglia.org, and examples of it being used for the Intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency levels are also available.
